Bookseller

Eliza had a lot of pocket money saved up.   She told me this week she wanted to use the money for a book. 

Yes!!  Yes, you may!! :-)

We went to the little book shop in our town, and I did my best to let her just look through them and choose one on her own.

She really took her time and looked through them, too.   

Finally, she picked one of the horse series books she likes. 

She waited in line patiently....

....and even paid for her book on her own. 

And now she's upstairs reading quietly.  Mmmmmm.....perfectly mellow summer afternoon.
