Pi Day

Lars has been waiting for today......3/14.

The Day of Pi.

He decorated cookies with Pi frosting and took them to school for everyone in his math class.

He and Eliza also found a tree clipping that just *happens* to look like the Pi symbol.  Even the plants are celebrating Pi!!

Photos are action-shots on the way to school....focus is de-emphasized

He also showed me what he made in art class earlier this week:

A small green ball of clay with a bead face.  A little green pea.  Lars named the green ball "Everyone" -- which seems an odd name, until a person understands Lars' humor.

Everyone likes math.

It took me a minute to get that.

Well, if I could pick a thing I'd like one of my teen age grands to get that much fun out of...it would be math. (Good thing he's sweet as well as smart, he'll need to start explaining his jokes to me..ha!) Cookies look so gorgeous! (Even twig is keen :)
Our computer won't pull up the photo with cap "little seamstess" (Hopefully, one day soon, it will)
